Proclamation of the winners of the 29th edition of the Short Story Competition in a Thousand Words, chaired this year by the multi-awarded writer René FREGNI.
As part of the Short Story Competition in a Thousand Words, we have the honor of welcoming the writer René FREGNI, as President of the Jury, next Saturday, May 18 at the Villa Aurélienne on the occasion of the proclamation of the prize list.
This author with an atypical career, passionate about books and his native Provence, and whose fictional work is nourished by the Provencal land, his life experiences, his generosity and his humanity, has been rewarded with numerous literary prizes, including the Var Readers' Prize in 2022 for his latest autobiographical novel "Midnight in the City of Dreams", published by Gallimard.
The author will announce the list of winners during the awards ceremony, and will devote a friendly moment of exchanges with all the participants present.
