Pink October
During this awareness month, the City is proud to partner with the Ligue contre le Cancer to organize an event that aims to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and screening, while supporting and celebrating survivors of this disease.
Pink October will be back again this year for a sixth edition in Fréjus. The City and the League against Cancer – Fréjus/Saint-Raphaël delegation – are setting up a breast cancer awareness day. With a program rich in activities and solidarity, this day will bring together young and old, men and women, around an essential cause.
On the program
- 10:00 a.m.: Information and prevention stands with the League against cancer, doctors and midwives from the intercommunal hospital center of Fréjus/Saint-Raphaël
- From 10:30 a.m.: Makeup and hairdressing workshop, Qi-Gong demonstration, pottery workshop, music concert
- 3:00 p.m.: Start of the “The roses of Forum Iulii” walk, 4.5km
- 3:30 p.m.: Start of the “The roses of Forum Iulii” race, 7.5 km
- 4:00 p.m.: Flashmob in the Arena
The day will end with musical entertainment and an Apé'Rose.
Registration for the walk and the race is done on sportips.fr or on site from 10:00 a.m. The participation is 10€ and all the profits are donated to the league against cancer.
