Nautical Station ***

The Nautical Stations are local bodies for the animation and sustainable development of nautical activities for sporting and tourist purposes. They contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the localities where they are established. As part of the France Stations Nautiques network, the raison d’être of each resort is to present the most comprehensive range of nautical activities possible to all audiences, with the aim of maximum quality. But because these are nautical activities carried out in a natural environment, this quality objective requires that the Nautical Stations be exemplary while constantly bearing in mind two concerns:

Concern for the safety of the practitioners: this will lead them to strictly respect the federal regulations specific to each discipline and the administrative regulations, in particular those which fall within the competence of the local authorities;

The concern for respect for the environment which, for nautical activities, is both an imperative duty and a necessary means of preserving the spaces where they are carried out;

The installation of equipment, the definition of activity programs and the content of training at all levels must in particular include respect for the environment among the priority concerns. The success of a Nautical Station is determined by:

The establishment of a complete and effective local organization in its operation;

The design and implementation of a Local Animation and Development Project for Nautical Activities.

The purpose of the Nautical Stations is to offer a set of services, activities and products in the best conditions that meet the demand and needs of all audiences. This set constitutes the nautical offer of activities of the Station, the basis of the identity card of each Station.
