As part of the commemoration of the bicentenary of the death of Napoleon Bonaparte, the City of Fréjus, through its Tourist Office and with the help of passionate partners present its NAPOLEONIAN FORTNIGHT!
The periods of the First and Second Empire helped to shape and build the contemporary heritage of France by participating in its international influence representative of the French spirit.
The exceptional and complex destiny of Napoleon Bonaparte fascinated and continues to captivate, between shadows and legends, decisive turns, panache and daring.
The year 2021 will remain an important date of commemoration celebrating the Bicentenary of Napoleon's death and sheds new light on the beautiful history of Fréjus.
For this first edition, exhibitions, private collections, historical reconstructions, guided tours, film-concert, conference … will highlight key moments in imperial history that resonate with the local history of Fréjus and that of the Côte d'Azur.
